Overview
A 10-day tour combining South Africa's mother city with a private game reserve. Four nights in Cape Town cover Table Mountain, the Cape of Good Hope, Boulders penguin colony and a day in the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek Winelands. A flight to the Lowveld then leads to three nights in a private reserve bordering Kruger, with twice-daily game drives for the Big Five. A night in Johannesburg with an optional Soweto tour completes the trip. Includes internal flights, breakfast in Cape Town and full board on safari.

Itinerary
Arrive at Cape Town International and transfer to your hotel near the V&A Waterfront. Evening at leisure along the harbour.
Cableway up Table Mountain (weather permitting), the Company's Garden, Bo-Kaap and Signal Hill, with an afternoon at the Waterfront or the Zeitz MOCAA museum.
A full day down the peninsula: Hout Bay, Chapman's Peak Drive, the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, and the African penguins at Boulders Beach near Simon's Town.
Drive to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek for cellar tours and tastings at two or three estates, a vineyard lunch and time in the Cape Dutch town centres.
Transfer to the airport for a flight to Hoedspruit or Nelspruit. Road transfer to a private reserve; afternoon game drive on arrival. Full board.
Dawn and late-afternoon game drives with experienced rangers and trackers, seeking lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino, with bush walks and sundowners between.
A second full day of game drives, with time to relax at the lodge pool or hide during the midday heat.
Final morning drive and breakfast, then a road and air transfer to Johannesburg for an overnight stay near the airport.
Optional half-day tour of Soweto and the Apartheid Museum, or the Cradle of Humankind, before a final night or evening departure.
Transfer to O.R. Tambo International Airport for your onward flight.
