Itinerary
Arrive at Heathrow or Gatwick and transfer to your central hotel. Afternoon hop-on hop-off bus tour to get your bearings, ending near the South Bank for the London Eye and sunset views of Parliament.
Morning at the Tower of London for the Crown Jewels and a Yeoman Warder tour, then a Thames river cruise downstream past Tower Bridge and back to Westminster. Evening West End musical.
Guided walk through Westminster Abbey's exterior, the Houses of Parliament, Whitehall, Horse Guards and St James's Park to Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Guard (seasonal). Afternoon free for the National Gallery or Covent Garden.
A full free day. Popular choices: the British Museum, Natural History Museum, Borough Market, Camden, Notting Hill and Portobello Road, or a half-day trip to Windsor Castle.
Breakfast, then a transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
